OctoberEighteen is a small, bootstrapped, privately-owned fashion house, establishing ourselves in the world of fashion and technology. All of our garments are made to order by our designer and her small team of artisans. We take pride in the fact that our products are not mass-produced in factories or by middlemen. In fact, any stock items we have in our studio are extremely limited.

We believe this approach is key to a greener and more sustainable future in fashion. While we want to offer great return experiences like the fashion e-commerce giants we admire and try to learn from, we must also consider certain economic realities when it comes to our return policy.

We understand that occasional exchanges or returns may be necessary. If you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it to us for either an exchange of size or colours, or store credit within 14 days of receiving the item. 

We do not offer cash refunds as a return option.

Eligibility for Returns:

- Returns are available for full-priced styles only. Sale items, including those purchased with a discount code, are not eligible for return.

- A request for a return must be submitted within 14 days from date of delivery receipt.

- The item(s) must be in original condition with the original packaging and all tags attached. Items showing signs of wear, washing, or alteration will be refused. Please take care when trying on garments, as we cannot accept garments that have incurred any makeup stains or smell of perfume.

- Made-to-measure and customized items are not eligible for return.


Initiate your Return

If you've met the above requirements, you may submit a Return Request through our website. Simply log in to your account with your email address and choose the orders you want to return, then click Return Item(s). You will receive a confirmation e-mail once the Return Request is sent.

Once your return request is accepted, you'll receive an email with available return options. To ensure you have the best choice, kindly reply within 7 days. Requests made after this time will be automatically declined.


Return Shipping

The shipping cost of returning item(s) to October Eighteen studio for an exchange or store credits is not covered or reimbursed by us. However, if you request an exchange, we will arrange the shipping of the new item to you. We understand that some international postage can be costly, so we do not expect express shipping on returns.

We recommend using a registered postal service to return goods, and keeping a record of the tracking details, as we are unable to be held liable for the loss of your item being returned.


Inspection and Approval

Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria. We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your return.

For exchanges:
If you request an exchange, we will arrange the shipping of the new item to you. 

For return: 
We will issue the credits of your returned items within 7 business days. (Original shipping cost will be automatically deducted from the credits issued.)


Sale Items

All sales of Sale Items (those displaying a reduced price) are final and are not eligible for return, exchanges or credits.


OctoberEighteen reserves the right to reject returns beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the original condition in which they were received. If this is the case, the package will be returned back to the customer and any shipping costs involved will not be covered by OctoberEighteen.
