We're very proud that more than 95% of our pieces are lovingly crafted right here in our own in-house atelier in Hong Kong! We're passionate about creating beautiful, high-quality fashion that you'll love wearing, and we're so proud to be able to do it right here at home. Of course, we also want to make sure we can offer you a wide variety of styles, so we've partnered with a wonderful local family-owned manufacturer to share some of the workload. MADE TO LAST

Every item is made in very limited quantities. The process starts with sourcing quality fabrics, designing and testing patterns, cutting, sewing, pressing, checking for loose threads and finally packaging. It takes approximately 6-8 hours for a piece to be made from start to finish. Some take up to 12 hours to make. Every piece is truly special and unique. 

SUSTAINABLE PRACTICE

Reducing waste and eco-footprint. OctoberEighteen uses overstock (also known as deadstock) fabrics, from various designer fashion houses and factories, to create clothing based on the nature of the fabric itself. All fabrics used for production are sourced according to usage and cut very cautiously to prevent fabric waste.

ONE AT A TIME

Keeping a direct and realistic approach. OctoberEighteen only releases small capsule collections, to avoid mass production. Starting with a small quantity of each product, and only making more based on order demand and customer feedback, this means less waste and more exclusive. So, no one at the party will be wearing the same outfit as you!

RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING 

We are actively striving for a reduction of the environmental impact of our products. As part of our packaging policy, 98% of OctoberEighteen's packaging material are recycled paper and biodegradable. We encourage you to reuse our packaging materials as many times as you can, because if everyone uses them at least twice, we'll reduce the waste on this planet by 50%.

We're all about sustainable fashion here at OctoberEighteen, which is why we often use overstock/deadstock fabrics for our garments. These materials are really special because they're in limited quantities, which means once they're gone, they're gone! So, if you see something you love, don't hesitate – grab it before it's too late! We promise you'll feel good knowing that you're not only getting a one-of-a-kind piece, but you're also making a positive impact on the environment. 

We're so excited for you to receive your order! That's why we make sure to ship all of our orders with a trackable courier, so you can keep an eye on its journey. Once your items are shipped, we'll send you an email notification with all the details you need – the tracking numbers and courier information. We want to make your shopping experience as hassle-free as possible! Since Hong Kong is not a VAT applicable location, we won't charge you for any duties and taxes at checkout. However, for international packages, please note that the recipient may be responsible for local taxes or custom fees. These fees are determined and regulated by local customs authorities, so we recommend checking your local customs website for more information. We carefully process each and every order within 2-5 business days. We want you to be able to enjoy your new purchase as soon as possible. We dispatch orders from our studio Monday to Friday. Our team is dedicated to making sure your order is packed with care and shipped out to you as quickly as possible. 

Simply log in to your account with your email address and choose the orders you want to return, then click Return Item(s). You will receive a confirmation e-mail once the Return Request is sent.

To make sure that your return goes smoothly and you get your refund as soon as possible, we recommend choosing a trusted carrier that offers a signed-for service and asking for a tracking number so you can follow your return every step of the way. Unfortunately, we won't be able to refund any returns that are lost in transit if they were sent using an untraceable shipping method. We know this can be frustrating, so we want to make sure that you have all the information you need to make sure your return gets to us safely.
