Returns & Exchanges Policy
Eligibility For Returns
At OctoberEighteen, your satisfaction is our priority, and we want you to shop with confidence. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Items must be returned in their original condition, with original packaging and all tags attached. Garments that appear worn, washed, altered, stained (including makeup), or have any scent such as perfume will not be accepted.
2. Please handle items carefully when trying them on to keep them returnable.
3. Returned items must be sent back to our Hong Kong studio before refunds or exchanges can be processed.
4. Exchange requests depend on the availability of the replacement item when your return is received.
Submit A Return Or Exchange Request
If you've met the above requirements, you may submit a return request through your account.
- Login to your account with your email address.
- Select the item(s) you'd like to return or Exchange.
- Click Submit Return Request. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once the Return Request is sent.
Once your return request has been authorized you’ll receive a confirmation email with the return address details and a Returns Form, which should be included inside your return package. Please wait to receive all required returns information before sending any returns.
Return Shipping
You are responsible for the cost of returning items. Original and return shipping fees are not covered or reimbursed by OctoberEighteen. We strongly recommend using a registered postal service with tracking and keeping a record of your tracking details, as we cannot be held liable for lost returns.
Returns must be shipped within 14 days of receiving your order. While we understand that international shipping can be costly, express shipping is not required; however, the package must be postmarked within the 14-day period. Returns sent after 14 days will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.
Please do not send any items back before receiving a return confirmation from us.
Exchanges
Exchanges follow the same process as returns.
You are responsible for the return shipping cost of the original item.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will ship the replacement as soon as possible.
If the replacement item differs in price, we will adjust your refund or charge accordingly.
Refunds & Store Credit
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria. We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your return.
Refunds: Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. A 5% handling fee will be deducted from your refund to cover processing costs. Original shipping fees, return shipping costs, duties, taxes, and other charges are non-refundable.
Store Credits: For store credit refunds, shipping cost will be deducted from the credit amount.
Lost Or Damaged Returns
If your return package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact your carrier with your tracking info.
We cannot process refunds or exchanges until the returned items are received.
Using tracked shipping helps protect you in these cases.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Made-to-measure or customized products
- Final Sale items
- Gift cards
For Orders Via Our Retail Partners
If you purchased OctoberEighteen pieces through one of our retail partners’ websites, please contact the retailer directly to arrange any returns or exchanges. Returns for these orders cannot be processed through OctoberEighteen.com
Policy Updates
OctoberEighteen reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet the eligibility criteria or are outside the specified timeframe. In such cases, packages will be returned to you at your expense. We may update this policy at any time, with changes effective upon posting on our website.
